Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a specific wavelength of light to target various skin concerns. It works by delivering controlled pulses of light to specific skin areas, targeting pigmentation, uneven skin tone, and vascular imperfections, while stimulating collagen production for overall skin rejuvenation.

What To Expect

EXPECATIONS DURING TREATMENT
During the treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort. Protective eyewear is worn, and a cooling gel is applied to the skin to enhance comfort. The IPL device emits pulses of light onto the skin, which may feel like a slight snapping or warming sensation. The treatment duration varies depending on the area being treated and the specific skin concerns.
POST TREATMENT
After IPL it's common to experience mild redness, swelling, or a sensation similar to a mild sunburn, which usually subsides within a day or two. Sunspots or pigmented areas might appear darker initially before gradually flaking off or lightening over the following days to weeks. Results continue to improve over subsequent weeks as collagen production is stimulated, promoting clearer, more even-toned skin.
